Charge to my Credit Card

I have rec'd a charge against my Credit Card from Roadrunner for a " VIP membership renewal. I have no idea where this has come from and certainly did not authorise such a charge.

i am not aware of being a memeber in the past. I am located in Australia NOT the US and would be nice to recieve advice prior to recieving a charge. I have tried to contact the company via email BUT no response.

I understand it is only $30 US but it is the principle that matters. I dont even recive correspopndence form the compamy in the mail or electronically.

Just call them. It is a pita but they are very cool about stopping the renewal and refunding the charge.

Just bail out...on roadrunner e-mail

Roadrunner e-mail has become virtually useless.

I have used my roadrunner e-mail account to field e-mails - both from 'good' vendors and 'useless' vendors for years now. But I can no longer 'clean it out'.

Of course 'cleaning out' email requires that you sort by sender or date received. This is no longer possible with your Brighthouse account e-mail, the account 'times out' long before the result of such a sort can take place...forget it.

So now, an e-mail address that I've used for more than a decade is useless.

Screw Brighthouse and Roadrunner...they've screwed me...time to abandon them....Just go yahoo or g-mail...it's not worth the painful experience of useless e-mail...

TOADrunner e-mail

The SLOWEST e-mail, "server"(AS-IF) on the Web. Unbelievably slow.

I log in, or change folders, and go to Gmail or Yahoo e-mail to do business, while the sorry site does it's thing, or I'll fall asleep. PATHETIC!!!!!!!

I need to submit 80 words? How's this: crawling, creeping, dawdling, dilatory, dragging, lagging, languid, leisurely, poking, poky (or pokey), sluggish, snaillike, snail-paced, tardy, miserable, piteous, pitiable, pitiful, poor, rueful, sorry, wretched, abysmal, lousy, low-grade, second-rate; bad, defective, dud, flawed, imperfect, substandard, unsatisfactory; deficient, inadequate, insufficient, unacceptable

Roadrunner - Nike Flyknit Racer Racing Shoe Review from Culver City, California

12/1/15 placed an order for $100.51 and my paypal charged. They used ontrac for delivery stating 12/4 delivery.

Didnt get the item. I was advised to place a different order and they will reimburse it but to get the same shoes, use a diff credit card and order again which i did. Shoes finally came 12/15 (3 days late as promised). Still havent reimbursed my previous undelivered purchase.

This will be my 1st and last time dealing with this co. Better to order fr nike.com. How do these people stay in business? It is not worth the aggravation to save for post tnxgiving sale.

I have lost interest in the shoes i ordered.

This has been the worst online purchase i made in my life and i shop online regularly. Hope you dont have the same experience as mine.

Refunded VIP membership

September 2015

I also had the annual renewal charges. I looked and saw that I purchased the shoes in 2012, and had been charged $24.99 in 2013 and 2014, and 26.99 now in 2015.

In their defense, the site does talk about auto-renewal "So you don't lose your benefits!" (so helpful!...for them), but I'm not sure how clear it is when you initially select the free shipping.

She was able to refund 2 of the 3 years I was charged, so ask for that.

I called the # on the card statement: 800-901-****. Looks like there is also a VIP customer service line 800-743-****.

Good luck!

Road Runner VIP Auto-Renew

Like a lot of people on this board I was automatically renewed for their VIP program without notice. The last time I bought anything from them was about 5 years ago, so I suspect that I've been renewed several times without noticing.

Clearly, I need to pay more attention, however, there were never any notices and when I checked my account on their site, they didn't even has me as VIP status--so not sure what I was being charged for.

Anyhow, we did catch it this time and when I called they did refund the money for this year. Thought I would post the number I used in case it is helpful to others: 800.543.7309

Road Runner VIP Club -- Auto-renewal without permission

Like a lot of people on this board I was being charged to for auto-renewal into this service without warning. The last time I recall buying anything from them was several years ago, so I'm guessing I was being charged for several years without noticing.

Clearly I need to pay better attention, however, I never got any kind of notice.

(Moreover, when I checked my status on their site, I wasn't listed as a member.) Caught it this year though and when I called they did cancel it and say they're issue a refund for this year. Thought I'd post the number in case it's helpful to others: 800.543.7309

Roadrunner

Roadrunner charged my account two years in a row, without my consent. This year they were denied by my credit card company, because I changed my card number.

However, they got my new number and then tried again and succeeded!!! WOW how is that legal, I can rarely afford to shop in this store, so I have been there only 3 times in the last 3 years.

I did enjoy their store and I was always in a good mood to get a chance to stop in but now I would never shop there. The sad thing is that they are making a killing by doing this; even though it hurts their image I am sure it doesn't hurt their bottom line.

VIPClub charge... even though I canceled it.

Yes, somehow they are still doing this in 2015. I joined the club to get discount on shoes in July 2014, canceled my membership this spring (March or April), just looked at my card statement today and I was charged $26.99 on 6-23 for a renewal fee. Logged back into my account on their website and it still even shows that I am not member... so what the *** are they billing me for?

Tried calling their service number, of course it is past their staff hours though, will be giving them an earful tomorrow.

Hope their state's attorney general puts a class action suit on them, from the comments on here they are clearly doing it intentionally. Will never allow anyone I know to order from them again.

Roadrunner email account automatically deleted

I am very dissatisfied with roadrunner email customer service.

One of My roadrunner email addresses was automatically deleted from the server for no reason and I lost all its emails.

When I started being unable to log in with this email address, I called the customer service 6 times in the span of 10 days and spent each time at least 15-20

minutes on the phone , sometimes even about 1 hour, trying to get my email address restored.

All the times I was put on hold many times, they contacted other departments and "escalated the ticket" and told me they would call me back later.

They only called me back 2 times out of 6 without being able to resolve the problem.

They never gave me a reasonable explanation why my email address was deleted and

I have been forced to use a different email address for all the services for which I was using my old roadrunner email address.

My advice is to stay away from roadrunner email addresses , since the data on these email accounts is not reliably maintainted.

I have been using a google gmail account for years and never had any access and/or speed problem, so I would definitely recommend google mail for all email usage.

Unwanted, unknown automatic subscription to something at $20+

I had no idea that I was going to receive an "unwanted automatic subscription" to something. I didn't realize I had signed up in the first place.

Really a scam. I would never use the company. I've only been in the store one time and didn't buy anything although I did let them talk me into an overpriced "foot - shoe fitness exam. A pox on them.

I don't remember signing anything but I must have if they put me on automatic renewal for something.

I don't believe they can make me subscribe to something just by paying for something by credit card. I didn't believe that reputable companies operated that way.

VIP Charges

Bought a pair of running shoes for my boyfriend last year and today my bank sent me a notice that they have suspended the use of my car due to an unusual transaction. Turns out when i made the payment the agent ended up signing me up for a membership that i do not really care for.

If the bank had not sent that notice i bet i'd have paid for years without noticing it. Hopefully if i call RoadRunner they will refund my money. these guys are sleek!!

i don't think ill be going to that store again or ordering at all. Not Cool

I have been without e-mail roadrunner for over 10 days

I can log in sometimes and most times it will not come up. Then when it does come up I can only open a few and then it shuts me down. We have had them for a number of years and never had a problem. I have called them over and over. Most times I can not get in. Surely they should at least give me a solid answer. I really like being with them and we are so sorry they treated us like this. We have not even received a telephone call to tell us if they are going to be able to fix it or not.
